Harvey and Donna Hubert started Hubert's Noble Ridge Christmas Tree Farm in 1960 by purchasing 40 acres of land then methodically developing each area of the farm. From 1960 to 2010 when the Huberts retired, they grew their small farm into a 128 acre farm of which 70 acres is currently planted with Christmas trees. For 51 years, the Huberts have helped local families create magical, memorable family traditions and made many, many friends.
In 2010, local firefighter Randy Billick, who has owned the Santa's Christmas Tree Farm in East Bremerton since 1984, bought the U-Cut Christmas Tree business from the Huberts and consolidated both businesses.
Now the Hubert's Christmas Tree Farm and the Santa's Christmas Tree Farm have been consolidated in order to bring the public the widest range and best possible quality Christmas trees available. The business has also been expanded to offer retail Christmas trees at various locations around Kitsap County and wholesale trees as well.
Three generations and over 10 of our family members work at our two U-cut farms to provide you r family the best holiday experience and selection of quality trees possible. We work all year long starting in January with the clearing of the fields and then planting around 3000 new seedlings each spring. Trimming, pruning and fertilizing go on all summer and then tagging occurs in October and November to prepare for opening day, the day after Thanksgiving.
Like last year at the Hubert Farm we will again have the Free Antique Tractor and Hay Wagon Rides to tour the farm on, and starting this year we will be offering Flocking of Christmas Trees on site in our main shop located next to the house.
